Maritime Fall Fair 2009

Corwhin Show Jumping attended the Maritime Fall Fair in October 2009. The MFF is an annual event held in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Many riders use it as a warm-up prior to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair held in Toronto. Aside from being a great warm-up event, the MFF is awesome fun for horses and riders. Great show jumping fans, fun classes, and a fascinating venue make it a worthwhile trip for anyone showing in eastern North America.

Below is a picture of Kfee de la Chappelle, a SF mare owned by Christine Weidner. Faye as she is known in the barn had a great show in the 1.30m division; winning two classes and placing 2nd in the mini-prix! Photo courtesy of Forelock Photography.

Also attending the MFF, was On Tap. He competed in the 1.45m division, placing 4th in the Power and Speed and 10th in the LIVERight Cup Grand Prix. This marked On Tap’s first Grand Prix appearance! Photo courtesy of Forelock Photography.

Urika and Kevin successful in first trip to Royal Agricultural Winter Fair!

Kevin & Urika at RAWF 2008

The Royal Winter Fair in Toronto was a success as Urika & Kevin contested the 2008 National Talent Squad Finals. On the first day they jumped clear and placed 2nd in the timed first round competition. The second day they came back to jump clear again, but after an overly ambitious jump-off finished in 6th place. Their combined result left them third overall.
